As a short preview of what`s coming up the next weeks throughout Germany with 5Gum (Munich, Berlin, Dortmund, Hamburg, Frankfurt) I currently have a little video mapping at Königsplatz Munich which will be on till Thursday. You can find more information and the dates here or join on facebook.
Here`s the vid of the epic Harry Klein closing with the crazy guys from Turntablerocker.
let me just put it short, it was a total loaded, crazy, sweaty, freaked-out BLAST!!!
see yourselve….

As you might know I sometimes like to keep things short and simple. This is a vid I did of one of our „White Muses“ dancers Marielle doing a quick session (since the lighting was terrific) as we arrived at the airport coming from Leeds yesterday. Filmed with a 5D Mark II in six minutes and edited in 15 minutes all together.
these are the first rough impressions of my current shooting. All filemd in HD highspeed (500-1200 FPS), more to be seen soon. Props to my Visual Drugstore crew, thanks!!!
Finally… The first vid of my stage design of a pavilion for a recent tour. The challenge was to develop a setup that could be build in many different locations and could still be recognized as the same event. The “Bedouin Tent”, how it was called most of the time, consisted of a center stage, 14 triangular sails and six trusspoles which could be moved in position depending on the location. The triangles are derived from the event communication and are positioned in a way that they cross each other, creating sort of a breaking look. As most of my setups the show was mostly driven by lots of video and 12 moving heads. Big shout out to Sina and Philipp from the event agency and the Sugar crew for bringing this great event to life and rocking the place like you know how to…

This is a vid of last saturday`s mapping onto the Audimax building at the Technical Unversity Munich using six 15k projectors.
Beginning of the festival season and definitely one of my absolutely favorite events throughout the year.
This year`s Timewarp Mannheim was (once again) a total blast, and this is not only because of acts such as Sven Väth, Marco Carola or Plasticman`s debut of his live performance (which in the end lasted two instead of one hours), but also because it seems that more and more crazy party people from all over Europe visit the Timewarp each year.
As usually I played at Sven Väths’ Floor, with Stivo and Jedesmal Kino performing the first two acts. Setup was a big projection (2×15K Tandem), three lifting LED 3×2m Walls and a gigantic Strip of G-Lec on the ceiling, which was embedded in “the dragon”, a movable truss with six big “wings”. My personal highlight of the night was Sven Väth`s set and when he and Marco Carola, Loco Dice and Ricardo Villalobos played back to back till 3pm – what a party! Due to the time switch we “lost” one hour of partytime, but since I played a total set of 14 hours i guess it was OK.
Big respect to Michael Hock of Planwerk, who planned the whole setup and of course everybody from Cosmopop for making this fabulous event happen.
